jbhhawaii Posted February 29, 2016 at 04:50 AM Author Report Share Posted February 29, 2016 at 04:50 AM What if it is added to the end of the meeting and there is motion to adjourn before getting to it? Could that be a way to stave of what the chair anticipates could become a malicious verbal lynching of another member?
Gary Novosielski Posted February 29, 2016 at 05:07 AM Report Share Posted February 29, 2016 at 05:07 AM Well, it would only come up again at the next meeting along with other business not reached on the agenda. But malicious verbal lynching is certainly a breach of decorum, and the chair should not hesitate instantly to cut off a member who attempts to go down that road.
