Guest Cat Posted November 11, 2017 at 04:07 PM Report Share Posted November 11, 2017 at 04:07 PM On conclusion of a recess the Chair calls "the meeting to order ".Does that also apply at the conclusion of " stand at ease ". Although it would seem ,of course, to make no difference were "call to order" used in both circumstances - what is correct as per RONR to say, when stand at ease is completed "moving on ", "the buinees" is , etc. etc.. Or who cares as long as its not : "you can all go back to being uneasy now " : )
Dan Honemann Posted November 11, 2017 at 04:48 PM Report Share Posted November 11, 2017 at 04:48 PM Yes. As noted on page 82, line 32, at the conclusion of the brief period during which the assembly stands at ease, the chair "declares the meeting again in order".
