Jane Douglas Posted February 18, 2018 at 05:41 PM Report Share Posted February 18, 2018 at 05:41 PM I live in an Independent Senior Living Cooperative in which there in a Board of Directors and several committees. Is it legal for a member of the Board of Directors to also be on the finance committee (which makes decisions regarding monthly fees, equity or refinancing issues, vendor choices, etc.)? Or does this represent a conflict of interest?
Richard Brown Posted February 18, 2018 at 05:58 PM Report Share Posted February 18, 2018 at 05:58 PM No rule in RONR prohibits it. It is up to your organization to decide who to place on committees.
