The appeal was filed within the time frame permitted. The bylaws and constitution are silent on a time frame for the appeal to be adjudicated. The appeal has dragged on. RONR has no guidance on this subject, as the appeal process you describe is entirely a creation of your own rules. Bruce Lages Posted May 30, 2018 at 01:42 AM Report Share Posted May 30, 2018 at 01:42 AM Unless a body other than the general membership is given exclusive authority to adjudicate appeals, it should be possible for the membership to insist that the appeal be resolved within a given time frame, via a motion to that effect.
