ACOB54 Posted September 26, 2020 at 02:35 PM Report Share Posted September 26, 2020 at 02:35 PM Is it a conflict of interest if the president and treasurer of a non-profit are signing officers? We require two of three signatures on cheques, which are president, treasurer or secretary. it is out practice that if the cheque is for one of the signers, then the other officers sign that cheque. RONR has no answer to this question. Your society is free to determine its own rules in this regard.

There's nothing wrong with that practice.
