Does a public board member recusal from a closed session prohibit the person from seeing the documents presented to the rest of the board?

A Public Board member needed to recuse themselves from a closed session due to a conflict of interest.  The question is whether or not when there are attached documents to the items of the Closed Session in order to let members prepare for that executive session, should the person that has to recuse themselves from the closed session be prevented from seeing those attachments.

If a Public Board member needs to recuse himself from a closed session due to a conflict of interest, this need to do so arises from the application of some rule other than any rule found in RONR. You will need, therefore, to look to the source of this rule for the answer to your question.
