Who/how can the position be filled? Was an election held? Provide ballots to solicit write-in votes. A majority vote is required to elect. Often even if people did not seek a nomination, they may be willing to serve if elected. Guest SVM Posted November 20, 2022 at 03:52 AM Report Share Posted November 20, 2022 at 03:52 AM No election until December. This was just the nominations for the upcoming election. Current VP no longer wanted the position, just finishing out this year’s term. Two others were nominated at meeting but both declined the position. Atul Kapur Posted November 20, 2022 at 04:35 AM Report Share Posted November 20, 2022 at 04:35 AM Re-open nominations at the December meeting just before the voting. If still no candidates accept nominations, do as @Gary Novosielskisuggests and issue ballots for a vote. Voters may write-in any eligible person. Whoever gets a majority of the votes cast, and does not immediately decli e, is elected.
