Sandy Sunshine Girl Posted February 14, 2024 at 08:41 PM Report Share Posted February 14, 2024 at 08:41 PM I am an elected County Board Member who was berated, put down, and accusations thrown at me in our private Executive Session last night by our local Sheriff. He ended up walking out of the meeting, went out into the halls where the public was waiting to return to the Board Room, and was telling the public what was being said in our Executive Session. I have two witnesses who watched and heard him and informed me of his actions. I have a serious issue with the Sheriff violating our Executive Session. Can someone tell me what recourse do I have in this case? And what should I do about this? Mrs. Sandy Hoos
Gary Novosielski Posted February 14, 2024 at 09:49 PM Report Share Posted February 14, 2024 at 09:49 PM No, RONR will not have an answer to your question, since it is, at this point a legal matter. Check with your board attorney for advice on how to proceed.
