Guest TEE Posted March 14, 2024 at 07:16 PM Report Share Posted March 14, 2024 at 07:16 PM Hi, I am just learning all about Robert Rules. Recently, members approved a proposal for an activity for an event. The event will not take place at the date and time that it was approved for. How do I propose the new date and time to the board members so that the date and time can be approved? What process procedure do I take? The motion to Amend Something Previously Adopted is used for this purpose. Such a motion can be made by any member. It requires a 2/3 vote, a vote of a majority of the entire membership, or a majority vote with previous notice for adoption.
