Guest Damien S. Posted April 16, 2024 at 08:26 PM Report Share Posted April 16, 2024 at 08:26 PM It has come to my knowledge that the voting process for a corporation I am a part of has not been conducted the way that they are supposed to according our bylaws that have been legally filed. In those bylaws, the only people that are able to vote are the existing officers with no allowance for any other voters. Within the past year, this has been informally changed to include other members of the corporation (not officers). These changes have not been legally filed. Is this legal, or is there a loophole saying that this can be allowed?
Atul Kapur Posted April 16, 2024 at 09:35 PM Report Share Posted April 16, 2024 at 09:35 PM This sounds like a legal question, which you should ask a lawyer knowledgeable about the laws that apply to the corporation.
