Dave Bennett Posted May 27, 2024 at 09:48 PM Report Share Posted May 27, 2024 at 09:48 PM At an Annual General Meeting of members, a motion to amend bylaws is pending. A member wants to postpone the motion. The member first moves to schedule an adjourned meeting to be held 6 months later, to which he will move to postpone the bylaw amendments. The bylaws require amendments to the bylaws to be dealt with at the AGM. Is there a time limit on which an adjourned meeting can be scheduled. The next AGM is scheduled for 12 months later. That's fine, as far as RONR is concerned. There is no calendar limit on the scheduling of an adjourned meeting.
