Guest Mike Posted July 14, 2010 at 07:08 PM Report Share Posted July 14, 2010 at 07:08 PM This case involves a 501c3 non profit organization and the standing committee whose chair has been removed by the president for non performance of duties before her term expired. So the committee is able to keep its monthly meeting date.

The President could appoint himself to the position - no "interim" involved. In the meantime, the committee may continue to meet and elect a Chairman Pro Tempore at each meeting. The President could be elected to this position.
