Minutes

A motion was made and adopted at an executive board meeting to secure a cost estimate for a project. A draft of the minutes of that meeting was sent to the board members for their input as to accuracy. There were no issues with them as drafted. However, the project was completed and funds committed without a meeting of the board and without informing all the members of the board. When we are asked to approve these minutes at our next board meeting, the majority might say the minutes are inaccurate and that it was voted to go ahead - which is not the case. How do we deal with this?

If you're asking what to do if a majority of the board members want to falsify the minutes, you'll have to take your case to a higher court (i.e. the general membership).
