Guest Andy Posted September 9, 2010 at 02:18 AM Report Share Posted September 9, 2010 at 02:18 AM Our by-laws allow the board the power to apoint a member to fill a director position that was caused by resignation etc.... It states that the directors can/shall apoint in order to fill a director position, for the remaining of the term. Listed in our by-laes there are only 4 director positions and the other four are listed as Pres, VP, Sect and Treas. On the other hand it says the board is responsible for al apointments and renewl of positons except for the positions voted on by the membership..This seems that our by-laws go back and forth. I know I have received some feed back, but I am still finding it hard to understand Can a motion be put forth to vote on that position at the AGM.
