Robert B Fish Posted October 8, 2010 at 12:01 AM Report Share Posted October 8, 2010 at 12:01 AM If a motion is on the floor can a non board member participate in the motion discussion? If so where can I find it in Robert's Rules of Order? If the group meeting is your board, then only board members have the RIGHT to attend the meeting, make motions, speak in debate and vote. Guests may be allowed to attend and speak in debate but they do not have that right and the privilege may be taken away at any time.-Bob
