Guest dd166 Posted December 12, 2010 at 05:12 PM Report Share Posted December 12, 2010 at 05:12 PM We are a small non-profit board. A motion was brought to introduce board requirements policy. The Board required some change to the wording so asked for the motion to be sent back to committee. The proposed policy has been updated and will be brought to the board for vote this month. Do we have to deal with the vote before anyone can introduce a secondary motion? In other words, a vote will be called on the revised wording. Can someone insert more changes to the wording before we vote or does the original motion have to be dealt with first before any other motions can be introduced? So it's only a starting point, not the last word.
