billcamera Posted January 7, 2011 at 03:48 AM Report Share Posted January 7, 2011 at 03:48 AM We have a problem with a previous secretary not providing meeting minutes from a meeting that occurred prior to the end of his term. The meeting included approval of some financial activities and also validation of several elections. What action can we take to verify this information? Josh Martin Posted January 7, 2011 at 03:56 AM Report Share Posted January 7, 2011 at 03:56 AM What action can we take to verify this information?Well, the actions are valid whether or not there are minutes, but it is still important to have a record of the meeting. The assembly should appoint a committee to recreate the minutes.
Guest Nancy N. Posted January 15, 2011 at 07:45 AM Report Share Posted January 15, 2011 at 07:45 AM Josh, I don't quite agree. Recreate the minutes that include "some financial activities"? Sure that's the book. But I think Bill Camera (?), the original poster, needs to be advised to compel the former secretary to cough up the goods. If she is still a member, then Chapter Twenty, on disciplinary action, should get involved. If she's gone, then the law.
