Guest Pat Posted January 21, 2011 at 03:39 AM Report Share Posted January 21, 2011 at 03:39 AM The President of our organization had to resign recently due to personal reasons. The VP has assumed her duties and will finish the next five months of her first year. Does he automatically preside over the second and final year or can he be replaced by the new VP? On the other hand, some bylaws stipulate that the "replacement" president will serve only until the next regular election. So check your bylaws.
