Kim Goldsworthy Posted May 19, 2010 at 05:30 PM Report Share Posted May 19, 2010 at 05:30 PM Be careful how you word the motion you adopt.• If you adopt a motion, "That we accept the report [of X]" then you've adopted 100% of the words and ideas, officially.(I don't think you want that.)• If you adopt a motion, "That the report be taken as advisory in nature," there's nothing wrong with that.
