Guest Gary Posted January 31, 2012 at 03:36 PM Report Share Posted January 31, 2012 at 03:36 PM If a Board approves a contract as part of the association's business meeting, does the actual terms of the contract automatically become part of the motion? Then, if the motion passes, and if the contract becomes part of the minutes of the meeting, then does the contract become part of the minutes as well? George Mervosh Posted January 31, 2012 at 03:58 PM Report Share Posted January 31, 2012 at 03:58 PM No and no. How the question was put is what goes in the minutes. Maybe something like - "Mr Tesser moved "that the Board execute the contract with Fluffy, Inc. to rebuild the gazebo." is how it will go down. (I agree that in such a case, the text of the contract would not actually be in the minutes.)
