TSSMDWC Posted February 21, 2011 at 04:42 AM Report Share Posted February 21, 2011 at 04:42 AM With a full board present after an annual meeting, we were electing officers by ballot specifically the secretary. With all 5 board members present, the results were 2 votes for one person, 2 votes abstaining and one vote for another person. Will the person who got 2 votes become the new secretary. What effect do abstaining votes have on this election. With this position still open, will need a new election for the position of secretary.
