Guest nikkimae Posted February 25, 2011 at 09:31 PM Report Share Posted February 25, 2011 at 09:31 PM In my football organization there is a cheer and a dance team. The dance team is comprised of an over flow of girls who did not make the cheering squad. Does the football board need to have a piblic vote before deciding to disband the dance team? Gary Novosielski Posted February 25, 2011 at 09:47 PM Report Share Posted February 25, 2011 at 09:47 PM In my football organization there is a cheer and a dance team. The dance team is [composed] of an over flow of girls who did not make the cheering squad. Does the football board need to have a [public] vote before deciding to disband the dance team? You mean vote first and decide later? Actually, it depends on how the dance team was created. If it was done by a miotion the board, then the board can vote to Rescind that decision. If it was created by the Membership, then the board can't reverse that decision. It would take a vote, but I'm not sure what you mean by a "public" vote. How was the dance team created?
