Voting on MInutes of a Meeting

After the minutes are read, the chair asks if there are any corrections. If any are proposed, the chair should ask for unanimous consent (ie. "if there are no objections....?") to make the correction, but if there are any disputes on this, a majority vote adopts the correction. After all corrections (if any) are handled, the chair announces the minutes approved (as corrected). While RONR currently indicates a vote on approval of the minutes is not out of order, the issue becomes problematic if the vote fails. What then? So, rather than taking a vote on the minutes, the chair announces them approved ("as corrected" if any corrections are proposed and adopted).
