Tim Wynn Posted March 26, 2011 at 11:10 PM Report Posted March 26, 2011 at 11:10 PM A committee was been formed to amend the bylaws (apprx. 10% of the membership)You might want to appoint a committee to amend that sentence. It's met twice. Now several club members wish to join the committee. How is this handled? Can they be appointed?Must they be appointed? It's up to the power that created the committee. Does the committee have a say in it?Does the board have a say?The committee can make a recommendation to the superior body, which can amend the motion that created the committee. If the president was given the authority to appoint the members of the committee, I doubt that authority extends to adding positions to the committee. The board's role in all this is unclear. thankYou're welc

Guest S4GjYd Posted March 28, 2011 at 01:30 AM Report Posted March 28, 2011 at 01:30 AM I think it's very funny..Mock away.. I deserve it, and it was done with good humor I hope! I should have paid more attention to what happened to my text during my 20+tries to get past your firewall. H. Wm. MountCastle is correct that your CAPTCHA firewall is a bear! Worse Ever.( and no , I had no hand in writing the screwy bylaws)
