For a particular group, a motion was made, a vote taken, majority was applied and the motion was passed. However, when the motion was stated, it was contingent upon the person bringing back add'l documentation to support spending $40k on a new building where all of the documentation was not provided (in my opinion, a blank check for $40k was handed over, provided he could finagle the numbers to support it). What options are there to modify/change/rescind the motion?

What options are there to modify/change/rescind the motion?

The motion may be rescinded or amended at any future meeting by a 2/3 vote, a vote of a majority of the entire membership, or a majority vote with previous notice.
