Guest HIVdirector Posted August 24, 2011 at 03:35 PM Report Share Posted August 24, 2011 at 03:35 PM My organization is in the process of changing bylaws. What I am wondering is where in the agenda do we change the bylaws? Is it before of after elections?
jstackpo Posted August 24, 2011 at 05:42 PM Report Share Posted August 24, 2011 at 05:42 PM RONR sez that Elections are "Special Orders"and bylaws are "General Orders"so that puts elections first. However, you are free to set the order as you see fit when the agenda is adopted. It may be important to reverse the order if the amendments to the bylaws could effect the elections in some way.
