Do we still need Tellers?This is for your organization to decide. If tellers would serve no purpose, there's no rule that says they must be used. If tellers would serve no purpose, there's no rule that says they must be used.On the other hand, if the electronic equipment fails, it would be good to have a backup. Perhaps tellers might be appointed ahead of time, just in case. Otherwise, a lot of time mime might be wasted appointing them on the spur of the moment. Or there might be other duties they could perform even if everything works properly. For example, they might be tasked to distribute the hand-held devices at the beginning of the meeting, and collect them at the end. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
