Guest mary Posted October 31, 2011 at 05:36 PM Report Share Posted October 31, 2011 at 05:36 PM Our organization has always given a detailed verbal treasury report and then allowed members hard copies. This year we are suddenly not given any details of spending and no hard copies are being allowed to be given out. Does RONR address this issue. Gary Novosielski Posted November 1, 2011 at 01:35 AM Report Share Posted November 1, 2011 at 01:35 AM Question for Edgar: Should the level of detail be stated as a "Standing Rule," or a "Special Rule of Order?"Presuming it has to be one of the two (a fact not clearly in evidence) it's more in the nature of a standing rule, because it directs the treasurer how to produce the treasurer's report, an act which takes place outside the context of a meeting, and is therefore not properly a Rule of Order.
