The Society wishes to pursue disciplinary action.

It appoints the committee which reports back with charges against Mr. N, as specified on p. 660, ll. 4-19. For some reason, however, it does not which suspend all the rights of membership of Mr. N prior to the trial.

May the assembly:

A. Choose not to suspend any rights of membership?

B. Choose to except some rights, e.g. word the resolution, "... all of Mr. N's rights as a member, except those relating to the trial and the right to use the use the Society's golf course, are suspended pending disposition of the case?"

The answer to both questions is "yes". (RONR, 11th ed., p. 662, ll. 25-31).
