Guest Jim C Posted December 13, 2011 at 03:57 AM Report Share Posted December 13, 2011 at 03:57 AM A name is nominated for office. That person is stated to not be able to run for office. The election is held without that name being nominated. Later it is determined the person could legitimately run for office. Is the election for that office invalid and the election have to be held again or does the person elected hold that office?

The election was most likely legitimate.
