Guest Sharon Denison Posted January 10, 2012 at 10:51 PM Report Share Posted January 10, 2012 at 10:51 PM If an agenda item ends with a total of three motions-two of which failed-is it required that ACTION minutes list all three motions and their resolution, ending with the last motion that passed and the vote? jstackpo Posted January 10, 2012 at 11:06 PM Report Share Posted January 10, 2012 at 11:06 PM RONR doesn't define "ACTION" minutes whatever they may be, just minutes. If you have special rules for "action minutes" follow those rules. The (regular) minutes should include the exact text of all motions and what happened to each. The vote count isn't included unless it was actually counted at the time of adoption (or defeat, or whatever), p. 470. Get more detail on pp. 468 ff.
