Guest Chip Posted May 14, 2012 at 02:35 PM Report Share Posted May 14, 2012 at 02:35 PM I know when a topic needs further research, the board or members in with voting rights may make a motion to refer the matter to a committee. In the following meeting, is this brought up during old business or is it simply a request from the facilitator for a committee report so that action may be taken during new business? Guest Edgar Posted May 14, 2012 at 02:41 PM Report Share Posted May 14, 2012 at 02:41 PM I know when a topic needs further research, the board or members in with voting rights may make a motion to refer the matter to a committee. That may or may not be at the following meeting. In the Standard Order of Business, committee reports occur before unfinished (not "old") and new business.
