Guest GuestJohn Posted May 25, 2012 at 10:00 PM Report Share Posted May 25, 2012 at 10:00 PM Is it okay for moderator who runs the meeting which President and her board don't want to run the meeting. Why? They want to involve to debate and vote at the meeting.
jstackpo Posted May 25, 2012 at 10:07 PM Report Share Posted May 25, 2012 at 10:07 PM Your question isn't quite clear to me. Care to try again?Meanwhile go look at your association (church?) bylaws and see what they say about who is supposed to run (or preside over) meetings. Why? They want to involve to debate and vote at the meeting. If the person who usually runs the meeting wants to "debate and vote" on a particular question, he can step down and let the assembly (the members) choose someone else to run the meeting. But this should be a very rare occurrence.
