Or does he/she vacate her position and the Board quorum votes in a new president?If there is a vice-president, he automatically becomes president, creating a vacancy in the office of vice-president. Wherever the vacancy exists, the body that elects the office fills the vacancy, after notice has been given, unless your rules provide a different procedure for filling vacancies.
