Guest Pam Kelly Posted August 27, 2012 at 02:58 AM Report Share Posted August 27, 2012 at 02:58 AM Is there a universal method for presenting bylaws revisions or amendments? Must they be presented publicly at a meeting prior to the meeting in which they will be voted?
jstackpo Posted August 27, 2012 at 10:52 AM Report Share Posted August 27, 2012 at 10:52 AM "Universal"? I doubt it, but the (differeing) systems of presenting simple amendments and general revisions (not exactly the same thing) found in RONR Section 57 apply in a general way.Check your association's bylaws for specific rules that you would have to follow to amend your bylaws. Guest Pam Kelly Posted August 27, 2012 at 03:24 PM Report Share Posted August 27, 2012 at 03:24 PM Thanks for the reference. That might help to more "standardize" bylaws of similar organizations I work with.
