Trina Posted September 9, 2012 at 07:47 PM Report Share Posted September 9, 2012 at 07:47 PM Is the troublesome person a member of the assembly (i.e. a member of the body that is meeting)? Remedies for disorderly conduct at a meeting are different for members than for nonmembers.

Gary c Tesser Posted September 10, 2012 at 01:41 AM Report Share Posted September 10, 2012 at 01:41 AM Guest Charles needs to start by determining whether the bylaws contain any provisions for disciplining members. If they do, those must be followed. If there is nothing on discipline in the bylaws, proceed to RONR, 11th Ed., p. 644 - 648. (Hmm, maybe you could stop there too.)
