Complaint Hearing witness

If a member is requested to attend a hearing as a witness in a complaint against another member, is the member/witness entitled to a copy of the complaint before the scheduled hearing or does the member/witness have to wait until the hearing to know what the complaint involves ?

If a trial under RONR was being held the member witness could have been there when the charges and specifications were preferred and/or at the start of the trial the Secretary would read the charges and specifications. So although RONR doesn't require that anyone other than the accused receive a copy of the charges and specifications the witness would have had at least two opportunities to have heard what he or she would be testifying about. Of course if your organization has customized rules regarding discipline it will be up to you all to work out the details (and they should be codified in the bylaws).
