Guest Edgar Posted October 9, 2012 at 01:53 PM Report Share Posted October 9, 2012 at 01:53 PM Can an individual who has recused themselves from a process, withdraw their recusalYou won't find "recuse" in RONR but, since it's apparently a voluntary act, I don't see why a person can't change his mind. If someone tells you otherwise, ask him to show you the rule.
Trina Posted October 9, 2012 at 01:53 PM Report Share Posted October 9, 2012 at 01:53 PM RONR really doesn't say anything about recusal per se, although there are suggestions that a member shouldn't vote under certain circumstances (which is quite different from actually prohibiting the member from exercising his membership rights under those circumstances). In any case, if the individual's recusal was voluntary, why wouldn't the individual be able to change his/her mind at will?
