Guest HopingforChange Posted December 8, 2012 at 08:13 PM Report Share Posted December 8, 2012 at 08:13 PM Association formed in 2005 and bylaws call for dues to be paid annually and failure to pay within 30 days of being due result in forfeiture of membership. The secretary resigned 2 weeks after organization was formed and was not replaced. Bylaws do not indicate how members are to be noticed and billed for dues.President did not hold an annual meeting, elections or file an annual report as bylaws require.Did the entire membership roll forfeit in year two (2006)? If so does this organization even exist with no members? (There has been no real activity or business conducted in eight years).
jstackpo Posted December 8, 2012 at 09:08 PM Report Share Posted December 8, 2012 at 09:08 PM The organization may still exist in some abstract sense, but with no members it will be hard to find it.Just let it go.
Josh Martin Posted December 9, 2012 at 05:22 PM Report Share Posted December 9, 2012 at 05:22 PM Did the entire membership roll forfeit in year two (2006)?Based on the information provided, it would seem so.If so does this organization even exist with no members?Strictly speaking, yes, although the distinction seems purely academic at this point.
