In the previous By-Laws all members had voting privileges. In the new By-Laws voting is restricted to members in the US and it's possessions. Our Club has foreign members, all of whom joined under the old By-Laws. Can the Board make a motion to grandfather in the current foreign members regarding voting privileges or would this require a By-Laws change? It is unlikely that your board would have the power to "grandfather" members in some way as to make them no longer subject to the current bylaws.
