Special meeting that president doesn't want to have

Majority of the board has called a special meeting in accordance with our by laws Can the majority appoint a chair for the meeting because the president doesn't want this meeting and is hostile towards the agenda.

If the president has to be the chair and refuses to follow the agenda and allow the proper election of officers, what should the next step be?

The rules can be suspended by a 2/3 vote.

If the president has to be the chair and refuses to follow the agenda and allow the proper election of officers, what should the next step be?

You may raise a point of order and appeal, putting the appeal from the floor, if necessary (see pp. 650-1).
