No. A defeated motion to Reconsider cannot be renewed in connection with the same vote.

 

I would note that although the motion to Reconsider has very narrow time limits, there are other options. If the main motion was adopted, the motion to Rescind or Amend Something Previously Adopted may be made at a later session. If defeated, that motion may be renewed at an even later session (but not during the same session). If the main motion was defeated, the main motion itself may be renewed at a later session. If defeated, it may be renewed again at an even later session (but not during the same session).

Nothing, but it's usually in order and a lot easier to use the motion to Reconsider in that case.

New Business would generally be the appropriate time to make a motion to Rescind or Amend Something Previously Adopted.

 

Either one would be fine for Reconsider.
