Josh Martin Posted January 15, 2014 at 04:16 PM Report Share Posted January 15, 2014 at 04:16 PM Referring to the procedure covered on page 373, line 17 to page 374, line 2. 1 Does the procedure apply to an order of the day set for a specified time? (p. 187) 2 Does the procedure apply to a special order set for a specified time? (pp. 364–365) The procedure on pg. 373, lines 17 to pg. 374, line 2 applies only to special orders set for a specified time within an agenda. It is assumed that a topic in an agenda with an assigned time is a special order unless otherwise specified (RONR, 11th ed., pg. 371, lines 19-23). The procedures for taking up individual general orders or special orders made for a specified time are discussed in RONR, 11th ed., pgs. 367-369 and pgs. 369-370, respectively.
