Guest Don Guest Posted July 18, 2019 at 02:17 AM Report Share Posted July 18, 2019 at 02:17 AM Question is on same subject. Meeting scheduled but quorum was not present. No actions were taken but reports were made and presentations given those who were in attendance. Draft minutes were produced but not offered for acceptance at the following meeting when there was a quorum. Reason given was that since there wasn't a quorum that there could be no minutes. Therefore, the report given to those members in attendance and the public are not a matter of record. Draft minutes are not eligible for FOIA. I contend minutes should have been presented for adoption regardless of whether there was a quorum at that meeting or not.
Joshua Katz Posted July 18, 2019 at 11:28 AM Report Share Posted July 18, 2019 at 11:28 AM The minutes should have been presented for approval. They should, of course, be short. But for further discussion, please start a new topic, despite the questions being similar.

And, to be clear, these draft minutes should still be presented for approval at your next meeting. And, as stated above, please start a new topic even if the questions are similar.
