Guest Rita Posted March 5, 2015 at 02:52 PM Report Share Posted March 5, 2015 at 02:52 PM After the report is given for all offices - can then the President ask for nominations from the floor for any of these offices in one question rather then doing each office separately? How can this be done as a group rather then individually and how would it be stated? I suppose he could state it as "Are there any nominations for any of these offices?", or something to that effect.
Richard Brown Posted March 5, 2015 at 03:03 PM Report Share Posted March 5, 2015 at 03:03 PM The presiding officer can do it either way, but it is customary to take nominations from the floor office by office. Edited to add: I agree with the wording suggested by Josh if the chair wants to ask for all nominations at once rather than office by office.
