Guest mkeastep Posted March 9, 2015 at 10:21 PM Report Share Posted March 9, 2015 at 10:21 PM Our Board of Directors passed a vote about raising the dues. It has not been presented to the general membership yet. Now several board members want to reopen the discussion and perhaps reconsider the vote. Is this possible? What needs to happen? Edgar Guest Posted March 9, 2015 at 10:23 PM Report Share Posted March 9, 2015 at 10:23 PM An adopted motion can often be rescinded ("voided") or otherwise amended ("changed"). It will take a two-thirds vote, the affirmative vote of a majority of the membership (in this case, of the board), or, if previous notice is given, a majority vote (of the board).
