can a president of a board vote for himself in the event of a tie vote for election of the president

I would like to know if a president of the board in both for himself to be president in the election for New president of the board in the event of a tie vote

If the vote was by ballot, the president would have voted along with everyone else.  Then the answer would be No, he does not get to vote a second time.

 

A tie vote would mean no election, and one or more additional rounds of balloting would be required.
