The names of all persons appointed to serve as members of the committee should be entered in the minutes of the meeting at which they were appointed. Dan Honemann Posted September 6, 2016 at 12:55 PM Report Share Posted September 6, 2016 at 12:55 PM Well, until people are appointed to serve on a committee, the committee cannot function since it has no members. If it was clearly understood at your meeting that these volunteers would, in fact, constitute the members of the committee, then I think you may treat them as having been appointed as its members, and their names should be entered in the minutes of that meeting as having been so appointed, but it is a rather sloppy way of doing things.
