Chairman of the Board vs President of the Organization

Can the Chairman of the Board and the president be the same person in a 503c organization?

Nothing in RONR prohibits the president and the chairman of the board of an organization from being the same person.  In fact, it is frequently the same person.  As to whether there are any IRS rules pertaining to that question when it comes to tax exempt 501 c 3 organizations (or any other tax exempt organizations), I doubt it, but that is a legal/tax question which is outside the scope of this forum.
