Richard Brown Posted May 31, 2018 at 06:37 PM Report Share Posted May 31, 2018 at 06:37 PM Nothing in RONR prohibits the president and the chairman of the board of an organization from being the same person. In fact, it is frequently the same person. As to whether there are any IRS rules pertaining to that question when it comes to tax exempt 501 c 3 organizations (or any other tax exempt organizations), I doubt it, but that is a legal/tax question which is outside the scope of this forum. Dan Honemann Posted May 31, 2018 at 06:38 PM Report Share Posted May 31, 2018 at 06:38 PM No rule in RONR prevents it. By the way, questions concerning what is or is not permitted under the Internal Revenue Code are not questions which should be posted in this forum.
